Resurrection Reporting

Live from the land of the Great Salt Lake, it’s the Daily Resurrection Report! Each day of General Convention the roving reporters of the Acts 8 Moment will be finding little signs of new life throughout the Salt Palace and bringing them to the wider Church. And we need your help!

If you’re at General Convention:

  • Take note of signs of resurrection. A beautiful photo? A key resolution passed? An impromptu song? Pass them on to be included in our Daily Resurrection Report! We reporters are many, but we can’t be everywhere. Email blurbs, links, photos, or whatever else invigorated your spirit to¬†GCreporting@acts8moment.org. (Please include in your email if you’d like to be attributed or anonymous, and if you’d like us to share links to your blog/Twitter/Instagram.)
  • Tell your friends! Ask your deputation, your bishops, your coworkers, or whoever you’re spending your days with to do the same.
  • Come to our Acts 8 in-person prayer gathering–Thursday, June 25, at 9:15 pm, in the Alpine East Room of the Hilton Salt Lake.

If you’re at home:

  • Subscribe to our Daily Resurrection Reports by visiting acts8moment.org and entering your email address in the “Resurrection In Your Inbox” section on the right side of the page. Note: Your email address will never be used for anything other than relevant Acts 8 Moment news.
  • Hear something great from someone in Utah? You don’t have to be at General Convention to submit a story to the report. Or ask them to submit it!

No matter where you are:

  • Share our reports on social media! The more eyes that get on our resurrection reports, the better.
  • Pray for our church! In whatever time zone, take a moment at 5:08 pm and pray for the gathering of God’s believers.
  • If you would like to support us financially, you may donate to our ongoing work at acts8moment.org. Your donations help fund our storytelling efforts.

–Holli Powell, Chief Resurrection Reporter
