As the General Convention prepares to consider devoting further resources for planting churches, we talk to the Rev. Terri Bays about her experience re-planting a parish in a struggling neighborhood in South Bend, Indiana. Discussing the risks of planting a church, she says: â€œThe life of faith is about what we say in the creeds and believing certain propositions, but even more so, itâ€™s about taking those propositions and using them to do something that terrifies us. It means going out on all sorts of limbs.â€
